The peanut or groundnut is a species in the Fabaceae family. Widely cultivated in Sudan with local name (Foul Sudani).
Peanut has over than 30 essential nutrients and phytonutrients as it is good source of fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese and vitamin E & B.
In cooking, peanut oil is healthier in comparison to saturated oils due to the fact that; peanut oil is free of trans-fat and has anti-aging effects which’s reduces cancer risk and also reduces cardiovascular diseases .
Peanuts use on an Assortment industrial end uses such as, lubricating oil, insecticides, and nitroglycerin ma from peanut oil, Saponified oil’s soap and many cosmetics contain peanut oil and its derivatives. The protein portion is used in the manufacture of some textile fibers.
